    Thanks Rob....Its a while since I've been online ...been having computer problems......I'm going over to N Ireland to visit relatives on Thursday and will be back Wednesday....So I'll be off line during that time

    I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

    Going armed with my paracetamol, tramadol for night and voltarol gel for during the day.......We are usually fairly active.....not hiking type active LOL but shops and general walking although the scooter will be in the back of the car if I need it

    Scooter is an excellent idea Hileena - why struggle when you can ride around and save walking for the bits where you really want/need too.
