hi

just sat down been busy tidying as knees as sore and thought i have a few minutes on my computer, anyway i found this i hope it does happen it would make a big difference to me and people like me, and as i been told your own knees are better than what you will get if you have a tkr, i must amit i sort of agree but then i not been in the pain that i sure alot of you are in, anything that can improve things even a little got to be worth it, anyway here's the link.

    there have been several news reports about this new treatment - it does look promising doesn't it.

    I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

    Very interesting, thanks for posting!

    I wonder if it's just helpful in osteo, not inflammatory types.

    Thanks for pointing this out and I've read the article. It's interesting and I wish they would use me as a guinea pig!!! I don't seem to have any other option but to have another TKR - it takes a good few years for this type of research to trickle down to other regions. I'll certainly ask when I see my consultant again.
