hi i just want to ask something.

i think OA is effecting my ankles, because when i sitting with my feet up and also through the day, my ankles feel starnge and also if i move them about in the way you do your feet, it feels like they are making crunching feeling, much the same as my knees do, and likewise as do my knees hate the cold and make them hurt more.

Is it OA too?

i deal with this as much as i can as there is nothing else i can do, but to live with it.

Sounds the same as my ankle. However mine hurts all the time. I do a lot of work strengthening the ankle with thera band and wobble board. See if that helps.

Hi only 49. I think it best to get it checked out. I started with OA in right hip then when it got into left hip was fobbed off with "its compensatory pain". Eventually X-ray discovered it was osteoporosis in my left hip. Once you have OA most GPs tend to put everything down it. I now have it in my knees, shoulder, back and feet. Well the GP says its OA but sometimes I wonder, not had any X-rays on these areas but doc automatically say its OA.
