Hi this site was recommended by a friend, very good for testing eligibility but also gives relevant case law for various definitions and explains the slightly strange questions in DLA App.

This is an excellent resource. I hate filling in those forms for S ... wish I had had this then.

I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

This is also a good site especially if you have to appeal. It gives access to all the tribunal results and decisions and you can specify your disability to find the specific cases.

    Hi,
Thanks both of you....the first link I've checked out...its excellent...... the second one I've just seen. I'll check it tomorrow or Monday....I dont hold out much hope but am going to have another go at applying...I applied once and was refused that thought "well I'm not entitled to it" and left it at that. but I'll be 65 next May and cant leave it any longer than that so I'll give it another try....as far as I know once you reach that magic age you can claim attendance allowance but not DLA

    Love
