I should imagine that £1000 per person is about right.
I think if people are so rich that they can afford to spend this much on a meal, they should give their money to charity instead.0 -
I'll go for £1,250. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

I dislike New Year with a frightening intensity. I tend to work from birthday to birthday instead - much nicer! DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

BUT DD
Have you noticed the 'gap' between birthdays has got smaller....when I was a kid it was at least 5 years between my birthdays :?

£800. No need for 99p or £99 to make it look better when it costs that much.

I did think £125 but i must be in cuckoo land as that must be the starter only!
I love a takeaway curry on New Years Eve!0 -
alanmancunian wrote:And the answer is £ 900... 00.p..... thats right 900. And you only get this price if you have a table of 10, otherwise its a grand.
Wow some of you were very close.
For that price I would have to have Frank Sinatra doing the cabaret.
The local chippy it is then, just about out of my price range.Love

Blast it. I first posted £899 hence my comment about the 99!

Does that include champers though I know that that is expensive0

I guessed right, and it was only a guess :!:
But anyway, I've decided to pass on it this year. It would be full of nouveaux riches trying to impress the hoi polloi. The truly posh people ( take the Posh test to see whether you qualify ) will be down the chippy with me0 -
Alan
Would love to know. I know it is expensive. Please let me know.0 -
The truly posh have fish 'n chips, out of the paper, on the beach with champagne, accompanied by the larbradaws (one chocolate and two balck or vice-versa) Very civilised! DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Is it for charity?
