Waddell's signs

Hi just a bit of food for thought. Was reading on another Forum about a chap at DLA Appeal hearing who had a letter from his Consultant saying he had 'Waddell's signs' and thought that would help his appeal. It's not funny really but if you google it you'll see why it didn't help his case much. So watch out if a Doctor says you've 'Waddell's signs'. :lol:

    That article was telling - we need more like that and more coverage of the abysmal system I think so that the more able members of society are also made aware.

    Chances are they may well beleive the hype about those claiming being scroungers.

    There was a bit on the news just on the radio about achap claiming DLA 'crippled' witnarthritis teaching dance classes.

    This sort of news is what the general public see - every day :(
