Thank you all soooooo much! & special thanks to Cris too for starting this thread.
Sorry I didn't get on here yesterday, but I was shattered by the time we got in last night, and I had a lie-in this morning too
the day started with a delivery of flowers from my dad which are stunning
Met hubby off his train at 2.30 & then went for a meal ..... stunning food made by a friend of ours who has a french patisserie in the town ....... shame I can only describe the food because it has to be seen and tasted to be believed I really enjoyed the beef pie & veg, and of course we had to have a selection of pastries for afters
I managed to have a rest whilst littlelegs got a good walk, then it was off to the theatre (complete with extra cushions just for good measure I have no shame these days ) and we had a good laugh pondering the possibility of becoming 'Lucky Sods' winning the lottery. The play (by John Godber) was great but sadly the lottery ticket we bought didn't turn out to be so lucky
I'm glad I made the effort to go - we both enjoyed our day - but I am quite tired today so taking things easy.
thanks for all helping us to celebrate 16 years together - it means a lot to us both.
hugs
