I guess you are after serious replies: I can only come up with My Big Fat Knee Surgery, an epic filmed in Feb 2002 (it was too!) DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

I think there's one about an ugly green arthritis affectred ogre called 'Shriek'.Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

The National Film Board of Canada has details of one, info at: http://www.onf-nfb.gc.ca/eng/collection/film/?id=13565
Note the superb angle-iron frame over the bed.

Ummm josef, that sounds serious. Was it? I have been trying very hard to think of more, but I am not good at this sort of thing. So many films, so many puns out there, such a little brain. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi Dreamdaisy,
this is a message to say thanks for your message I have never heard of My Big Fat Knee Surgery so I can't say any thing about that film, but I have seen the Shriek films and I must say that the next time I see it I will be watching it a lot closer.
Thank You0 -
I am hopeless at puns of that nature - there must be many but I can't find them. I cannot think of a single film that features an arthritic, but - is it Jeffrey Deavers (sp?) who writes crime novel featuring an arthritic cop? Perhaps AC should produce a documentary about arthritis. Perhaps they have. I don't know! DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi Joseph,
Thanks for you message I looked at the website that you told me about but as it was a documentary it made me think why don't they make more film about Arthritis as hundreds of people have it and I've seen film about other disease and the only time that I can think of seeing anyone with Arthritis in it is when I've films about King Henry The Eighth so what does that tell us? :x
Anyway thanks again

Didn't Edif Piaff have RA? There was a film about her the other year so may be her arthritis was covered in the film.0

Yup, apparently she did. There was a recent thread on chitchat about famous arthritics - some surprsing names on it too! DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi Paula
I certainly have never seen a film about arthritis. It's a good question you've raised.
You would think someone would make one. If they do I would hope that they focus on the pain, misery, heartache, major surgery to replace joints, disability etc ! Lots of stuff on aids and cancer but nothing on this subject.
So film producers if you're a fellow sufferer then get your writers to come up with an epic arthritic hero.
Sharmaine.
