    Hi Sue

That is not sad, it has bought out emotions of you and your mum that is not a bad thing.

It just shows how some of these programmes are made to be so convincing.

    Sending you a gentle (((()))
    love Trish xxx

    Aww thanks Trish
A lot of it still seems a bit raw,
I knew it would be upsetting but not that much, but still I suppose it does us good to let things out some times

Sometimes things catch one unawares. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad. I don't know what to say, so brace yourself - I don't easily give these: (()) DD

    You take care now.

    HI Sue,
well if it is any comfort my hubby and I watched it together and were both howling by the end ..... much to the dog's consternation

it was a superbly written and acted programme that highlighted the complexities of the issue. Hopefully it will have made people think ..... too often this issue is treated as a black and white issue of right and wrong, when it is not at all clear cut.

hugs to you & I think it shows you are sensitive not a numpty!

    Thanks Wonky
You are right, it was well written, After it had ended they both came upstairs, I think they noticed how I was, I ask if they had watched it, they had but I don't think it had the same affect on them,
Well lets put it this way it probably did but they were more in control
not like me the fool I am

she dies surounded by love and not on her own what most of us would wish for we would never let an animal suffer like we do humans i know i would have wanted to do the same in those circumstances who would wish to live with constant pain that only going to get worse and no cure that will only lead to death. we all want to be in control of our own future. to those left behind it so hard to cope with hugs to those who it brought back sad memories to val

It's a British thing, isn't it? We are not adept at handlng displays of emotion, either on our own or seeing it in someone else. There are big life events that leave deep, deep marks and grooves in one. Sometimes it all wells up and has to be released. If I need a sob-fest then I stick on Truly, Madly, Deeply. Works like a charm every time and I feel better.

I hope you feel better today queenfan. Thinking of you. DD Oh, go on then, 'cos it's you (())

Well today is another day, DD yeah more in control today,
I think it must be a British thing, not letting people know you are upset
I prefer to listen to other people not myself.
In fact after I have been upset & let other people know I have been makes me feel more like a fool
When I feel like this ( like a lot of other people I'm sure) I would rather be on my own, you don't feel such a fool on your own do you
& after all every body as down days don't they
Thank you all for listening to me, NOW WITH A STIFF UPPER LIP
