Hi, So glad you went back to the Dr's. I truly hope that things seem a little better today.
Thanks for getting in touch, I know you will get there in the end.

    Hi Efleure

I hope that you will begin to feel a bit better soon. Just take one day at a time. I think it can take some time for you to feel the benefits of upping your anti-depressants.

So hang in there, you will get there.

Hugs ((((((((((((((((((())))))))))))))))))))) and strength for you

    Blimey Hileena,

SIX WEEKS PRE-OP - that has come around quickly!! But how fab that you will soon have TWO great hips - of that I'm envious - my new hip is SO much better than my much older THR. How are you doing? You seem to have maintained your sense of humour.

    Speedy
I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

    Hi Speedy
It has come quickly hasnt it...seems no time since i had the first one and you and Marion were planning to go in shortly afterwards.
I'm not doing brilliantly to be honest.
Before the op I was balanced....2 wonkly hips
Now I'm unbalanced....dont say it!!! LOL Seriously one good one and one wonky one so I'm compensating and puttiong all my weight on the good hip. Cant walk as far as I could with the 2 bad ones.
    Doesnt make much sense really but hopefully when I have the 2nd one done I'll be balanced again {after the dreaded 6 weeks of course}

    Love

    Oh Hileena,

sounds like the quicker that op comes round the better!! Have you read Mjking's thread? He is in a similar position to you and can't wait to have his other hip done. I wish my old left THR was as good as my new right hip ... my new right hip far exceeds it already.

Sounds like you will feel much better off when you are de-wonked and have hips of similar, bionic ability!! You'll be able to pop your scooter into storage!!

The sooner the scooter goes into storage the better...Its been a blessing and still is but I'd rather be without it
