    Hi

It could be the nerves in your hand. You say you have hand damaged, it is more likely the nerve maybe they get trappend and released. I would make an appointment to see your gp to find out what is going on.

I went and had the nerves tested because they thought that was causing my problems simular to yours.

If they do send you for the test it is painless they just put wires around your fingers and measure points in them. Then move the wire to the next finger and so on until it is finished

You say that your hands are badly swollen, so it would be reasonable to expect that there is pressure being exerted on your flesh and the flesh contains the nerves and so they tingle. A trip to the GP could be useful, to see if he/she can prescribe a more effective anti-inflammatory or, as trisher wisely says, send you for further tests. I wish you well. DD

If your liver is against you there is not a lot anyone can do. The liver processes the methotrexate and leflunomide etc, hence the importance of constant blood tests to check liver functions - which of course you know! Sorry! Celebrex is a good anti-inflammatory but obviously it's not working that well for you. I do not know what else to suggest - could it be related to high blood pressure or something? HAs your doc checked that recently? DD

    Hi Karl,

I had this some time ago. My little finger and ring finger buzzed and tingled on my left hand. My consultant told me I had a trapped nerve in the elbow and gave me a steroid injection into the elbow joint. This didn't improve matters much but eventually the tingling did stop. It could also be carpel tunnel syndrone where the nerve is trapped in your wrist. It all depends where the tingling is to where the nerve is trapped (I know you did explain clearly).

You need to speak to your GP because it needs to be looked at in case there's the possibility of permanent nerve damage.

    Hope this helps.
