Morning all, now does anyone have or know of anything that's better than Movicol?

Docusate tablets (take 4 per day) work for me, but my favourite is Syrup of Figs. Or eat dried figs. Prunes are revolting. Ignore them. Cherries work, as do three or four pints of your local ale with or without a curry. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

I use Drain Buster or something like that in the shower. Just leave overnight.0

Hahahahahahahhaha!
I am such a thicko!
I have just realised what you were talking about AFTER I posted my last message.
I cannae stop laughing!
PLEASE do not take the Drain Buster thing although it'd likely do the trick haha!
If I eat a packet of dried apricots I have to hobble to the toilet pronto.
I think it is high time for me to stop bleaching my hair as it is obviously leaking into my wee brain.
Keep smiling, Carol0 -
I wondered if you were serious or larking about! Oh carola! DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi Mellman
I have been given movicol, i could not movicol out of the house for about 4 days, just in case of an accident, gp said you just have to get the dose right, i gave up. I now take max strength senokot plus lactulose which is on prescription, but you are only suppose to take 1omls, no good, so i take 40mls, not every day though. My husband has suggested dynamite, but i think thats a bit extreme even for me.
