I got it! The judge and doctor were really nice and within 20mins they had decided that the decision should be overturned. They decided it based on my lack of manual dexterity. They asked if I could turn star headed taps (I put I had a problem with taps on the medical questionnaire but the doctor said I didn't have a problem) and I said that I hadn't used a star headed tap in years and even remembered that my parents had changed the taps when I lived at home to lever taps. Instant 15points and qualification.

It still means I get two thirds of **** all but we did it for the principle and I feel vindicated.

I'm going to be getting in touch with my local MP again to discuss the process.

Jen that is brilliant news, I know its not ideal for you money wise, but you must feel so good about winning this, you stood up for yourself and it paid off.
You are an inspiration to anyone on here that has to do the same, it is so encouraging.
    You take care

Im really surprised and sad that it took them so long. Its a lot of stress you could do without. Anyway you can feel vindicated now and that is a special feeling.

    Well done

Well done, they could see what the medical could,nt or didn't want too. I got mine because it was obivois to the lay person never mind the Doctor that I have very limited use of my hands. It's a shame that they made you go through all this stress.
    Well done again Fay :D:D:D

    HI

I wished to congratulate you on your decision getting overturned. It does sound as if they have made you jump through all sorts of emotional hoops to get your benefit that you were entitled to all along.

    Best Wishes

I am well pleased for you, it is a crying shame that you and many of us, will have to face such humiliation in the coming months, due to the "cuts" and getting us all back to work.
