Just like to say hello I haven't been around for a while as I have been trying to set up an online business. Arthur has been behaving (well in a fashion), until just lately after suffering from dizzy spells and pins and needles in my foot I was given an x-ray on my neck. I was expecting them to say there was nothing, however, the nurse came out and said that there was a blockage of some sort and they were sending me for an MRI. I am not in any pain with it just the pins and needles is really annoying and spinning of the head is not pleasant. Just wondering if anyone else has had anything similar. Elissa :?

No, sorry, I cannot help, but I love the name. Are you a V Woolf fan or is your surname actually Dalloway? I hope your business takes off, these are not easy conditions. I own a small business, now so small it's practically invisible! DD

@ DreamDaisy - yes huge Virginia Woolf fan! Have some craft fairs coming up so hoping some sales will come from that, however, one of them is a 2 day weekend one so can see me spending the Monday in a dark room with painkillers, lol! What business are you in?

@ Monica - yes I have a sneaky suspicion it is the start of OA in neck as have had a bit of cracking and crunching. However, whenever I have brought that up in the past it has always been poo pooed don't be silly! Mind you they said that about my knee as well but will let you know what MRI reveals.

Thanks for replying I had forgotten how friendly it is on here good to be back!! :D Elissa x

Lovely to see you again Elissa. I have often wondered how you were doing. Are the children well?

Sorry to hear about the latest health problems, but glad you`re having them investigated.

Good luck with your business..........Much love.......Ange.

    Hi Elissa,

I hope the craft fairs go well for you and the bone thing holds off for a coupe of days so you don't have to find the dark room.

I got a problem with my neck and it gives me vertigo, that's kind of like the symptoms you are talking about. I think it might be best to just get it checked out really.

Good luck with the fairs and nice to see you again. Cris x

    Hi Mrs Dalloway

Can't give you any advice about your neck I'm afraid, but hope the experts can give you a diagnosis. Please let us know how you get on.

Enjoy the fair - it's great to get out and about and mix with people.. (and also to make some money!!)

Thank you so much for your comments!

@Ange - kids are fine 14 & 11 now eldest came out of her 'bad phase' thank goodness and is now back on the straight and narrow. We attended a prize giving just before they broke up and I was so proud of her going up to collect her prize, it was a huge leap from the path that she was on. Youngest goes up to high school this time so I think a few tears will be shed on that day, by me, lol!

Hello Mrs D, I hope things are not too bad with you today. My business? I'm a specialist tutor for dyslexics of all ages. My youngest pupil was 5, my eldest 65. I don't see many now, blasted arthritis gets in the way too much. I'm unreliable now.

Good luck with the fair. I hope it goes well and you don't tire yourself out too much! DD

good luck with the craft fairs. Hope you get some joy on treating your new symptoms.

I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.
