    Hi Everone
just thought I'd post a quick update since taking the folic acid the metallic taste and sore Tongue has completely gone Id been suffering with this for weeks and weeks so what a relief . Any of you other peeps out there on Sulfa might be worth trying some Folic Acid I've been taking 400 a day.
Hi DD yes we do all have to suffer for trying to enjoy ourselves for me if I'm feeling a bit better always seem to do too much and then the next day it's payback time - will I ever learn, you'd think at my age I would!!!
Hope your a pain free day, grey and miserable here but trying not to feel glum.
    Love to you all SS

I'm glad your tongue is better, that is a good thing! I am sitting here in the murk of another summer's day in East Anglia, lights on, huddled in a cardigan, off for another warming coffee. I love the summer time! DD

Hi,Welcome to the forum.I'm afraid I can't help regarding Sulph as I take Hydroxy and MTX,however,I find when taking the Hydroxy it leaves a metallic taste on the tongue.I found the same occured when I was on Prednisolone(steroids).I believe some tablets can be prescribed which has a coating to prevent a nasty after taste.Perhaps other members know of this. Hi Shiningstar,

Glad to hear the metallic taste has cleared up. I've had that from time to time, but funnily enough not since I started the sulpha in January!

It's been a good drug for me (so far!) so hope it works well for you too.
