I can honestly say I never watched an episode of any of them........
But then again, I told I don't live in the real world.......
Neither do I watch 'reality TV'.......
Ho-hum..........................Rob x

I was an Eastenders addict, and watched every episode from programme 1 until about a year ago, when I decided to go cold turkey and break the habit. Now I don't watch any soaps at all.
The best characters ever on Eastenders have to be Dirty Den and Angie. Who can forget the episode when Den served Angie with divorce papers on Christmas Day? What a happy Christmas story-line that was!!0 -
I have to admit I'm a bit of a soapie all round. It's difficult for me to separate the three as I enjoy them all equally. My Fave Corrie character is Eileen, My fave Easties character is Patrick and my fave Emmerdale person is/was Diane oh and Marlon. I guess of these Eileen has the edge, but they're pretty much even in my book. (nowt like sitting on the fence is there?)0

I'm with Rob on this, I don't watch them. I have enough gloom and doom in my life without being 'entertained' by others' miseries. They can serve a useful purpose in highlighting social or health issues but there are limits: wasn't a soap actor recently quite badly assaulted by a member of the public because of what his character was doing? Ludicrous. It's pretend, for goodness' sake! DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hello
I'm with Eastenders but do not have a favourite character. However I also watch Holby city to pick up all the mistakes they make from a nurses point of view. I do have a favourite in Holby which is Connie who is leaving for good!!

I wonder iof anyone thinks I watch any of that rubbish??
Being a Big Bro fan?
Of course I do!!!
ALL of em and oddly enough Cham I can relate to your story -Big bro saved my life when I split up with the kids Dad and my Mum's and mine when my Dad died and Mine again when my Mum died and I still watch it and think - she wouldnt like so and so
Sorry I digress
I watch them all Marlon and Sam on Emmerdale and Patrick/Pat on easties and Steve and Becky on Corrers Corrers is best as the characters are funny Easties can be a wee bit depressing.
Thanks Alan

I can't miss Corrie or Eastenders, but I don't know why I bother sometimes as the storylines get very same-y.
Never watched Emmerdale.

Well I never have time to watch any of them. I know some one who wrote scripts for Eastenders and the rumour is she based her Ricky character on my fella (also called Ricky).

I'd rather watch paint dry. One of them has hundreds of women who screetch at the tops of their very piercing voices continually. Drives me to closing the doors to get away from it, but it must be music to hubby's ears as he watches whatever-it-is avidly.

I stopped watching Corrie and Enders a couple of years ago after being an avid fan.
Nowadays I'm addicted to Holby City (like Janie) and record it if we're out.
