Does anyone have Spondyloarthropathy?

Hello

Came back from Rheumatologist and been told I have Spondyloarthropathy as well as Fibromyalgia Confused

Rheumatologist gave me a cortosone steroid injectiong (Monday) but not kicked in yet!

Has anyone got Spondyloarthropathy?

Any advise would be fab! :roll:

    I think it is a bit like seronegative inflamatory arthritises.

    Sorry rubbish at explaining and yes lots of peoepl on here will fall inot this category as it includes PA and reactive arthritis as well as others.

    Hope you feel a bit better after the jab? Mind you they can take a little while to work

    It might explain a bit about why the fibro symptoms on their own dont fit 100%???

    I'm sorry holly, I can't help but I do hope the steroid kicks in soon. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. I sincerely hope you are in the former camp! DD

    Hi Lynn,

    It effects the Hips, Spine, Knees and Ankles.
    In an awful lot of pain today, I have not noticed any benefit from the steriod injection. I had injection Monday and I was hoping it would have kicked in by now!

    hope the jab has worked no - you would be suprised how long it can take to work though.
