Before you read all of this I must say I haven't Googled this but please do read on.
Well did you know if you are the widow or widower of someone who fought in WW2 the Lottery have a fund that will allow/pay most of the cost for you and a carer to travel to the area of the world they were stationed at!?, I only found out from a chap up at the black horse, he's taking his 85 year old mum out by train to Tunisia first class normally costs £4000 they are paying £1000.
Typically they are stopping this scheme soon and they don't advertise it, I wonder why, maybe they want no noe to know about it so they have more money to spend on inner city "diversity" projects, sorry did that come over as a tad cynical!!!

Hi Mell
Why would they need to keep it a secret :x
bet you're right though. Charitable causes - secret charitable causes more like!
great idea if anyone knows anyone who could use it.
Love

I think that's why they don't advertise it if you don't know then they have more money to play with, cynical but true, it's like benifits for the disabled and old, there are millions that aern't claimed due to them not telling them in the first place, yet if the person is a scrounger who has never worked and spawns a lot or has just turned up on these shores they throw money and advice at them, what a great country we live in these day's, I bet my dear old gramps would have been proud that he gave his life in WW2 so the powers that be can look after those poor souls who truly deserve it, and who really respect what they did to keep this country a shinning example of democracy and a beacon of justice so the worlds needy know they can get all the help they could ever need, all they have to do is pass thorough every safe country on the way here, and as long as they say the right thing when they do get here they need not live in fear again!.0

I wonder how many people could benefit from this? It is a shame that they do not make it more generally known - perhaps we should contact the press and blow the lid off the secret! DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
