I've had meth rash on my forearms, and recently on my neck but it didn't itch. If there's a chemist open near you pop in and see the pharmacist - they are knowledgeable people and my be able to diagnose the problem. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi,I'm on MTX and when I was taking 15mg I came out in a red, itchy, bumpy rash on my fore arms. The consultant said it could have been caused by a reaction with sunshine with the MTX so he lowered my dose to 7.5mg.He did tell me to use a 50 factor sunscreen when out in the sun.The cream I used to easethe itching and get rid of the rash was Eurax which you can get over the counter at any chemist. It was really good and stopped the itching quickly.I would give it a try. Love Breane.x0

I hate to say it but I suspect too that this might be the methotrexate. When I was on it I developed a heat rash type reaction.
Can I suggest you have a chat with your GP or Rheumy as soon as you can?
Sorry not to be more positive.
