Hi Mike
Nice new shiny blue badge eh??
that's good - what is NOT so good is the numbness...if I am reading right you have had some numbness?? Sounds likley a trapped nerve to be honest, but worth mentioning to your GP next time you go if it's ok now?
If it happens again you may need to go and see him sooner.
Hope it's ok now and stays ok

hi mike,
hope you are feeling better now.....it's so worrying when something like that happens and you don't kow what it is.
sorry I can't be of much help but I agree that a visit to the doctor might be a good idea...... at least it would set your mind at rest
congrats on the blue badge0 -
It's probably a nerve, you might have been sitting awkwardly just before the scratch and then everything tried to zing back into life. I hope it's sorted now, if not ring your doc tomorrow and see if they can advise you. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

I am going to make an appointment do see the gp incase it has anything to do with my diabetes, I am meant to see her every 8 weeks at the diabetic clinic, so I went down to ask if I can make an appointment , the girl at the desk said we will sent outn when its due . now the last time was june , I thought it was time now but they said wait . I bet if I wait until september still no appointment will come .
Its hard to get them moving at times ( at my health centre )

Hi Mike R, Hazel and Mike jnr
It is scary when you get sudden numbness and you're right to get the doc's advice on what could be causing it. It could be pressure on a nerve...seems likely... but you do need to know why you're getting this and where the pressure is located. Have you had anything like that before?
hope it is something simple Mike! . will be waiting to hear how you get on.
regards to Hazel and Mike jnr too.

Hi Mike, It sounds like a pinched nerve or something like that, but I would take it to the docs or rheummy nurse, as if it is a nerve something has caused that to happen and they may want to find out or it may be they just give you the all-clear and you don't need to worry. Its better to do something than sit and worry.
Hope all is well, love Sue0
