Provide me with
A Garden
Where i will dwell
Present me with
Sweet honey suckle
Its fragrance i'll smell
Give me the
Sound of birds
Singing a sweet tune
Bestow me with
A just cut lawn
And the morning dew
Offer me
Chocolate brown soil
To feel,
As it sifts through my hand
Award me with
A leafy tree
To rest after a hard days toil
And grant me
Peace and Tranquillity
As I sit and gaze upon your land

I can see the progress suncatcher - but do you need an apostrophe in 'ill smell' to make it 'I'll smell'? You are developing your skills well, it's a thoughtful and peaceful poem. DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben

Another really nice poem. You are getting very good aalso quicker.

I still cannot find that one you wrote last year. It was so
    good.

I remember I told you to do another one. You asked us what could you write about. I said about nature.

You were going to try. I just wish I could remember it.

Waiting for the next one now Joanne :)

Hi dont think ive spokent o you before if you are new welcome to the forum. :D I did write this glad you liked it. :D
There are a few poets on the forum they have gone quiet for now.
I think they have put down there pens and are too busy out in their gardens, even small holdings. :D

Nature will do i will have a think. We read other poetry term time . I have been sharing mine with the group. I read four out. I had better start writing new material as i will run out. I have got arther poems but ive only put them on here. The library book group are older and i have shared with them a few things about the condition. they seem understanding receptive. I am not sure to share those poems though. It may be too much.
I am glad you liked it trisha :D joanne
