Hi Sue
How lovely to be going away - AND at his suggestion? I haven't managed to train my hubby that well yet
I don't know of any B&Bs that way, but you could try Googl'ing it? I've always found it very useful. They have ratings from people on there too.

Hi Nina, Val, & Trisha We were thinking of somewhere North wales,
but we used to go there quite a lot when my Mom was a live so wanted
to go, Somerset way, we remember going quite a few years ago has a group 10 of us mom included, to burnham on sea.
we all had a great time, this is why he thought of Somerset,
just the three of us in a nice B&B I think it is good to know what places are like, & knowing people have recommended places is even better, I will have a look on goggle, but would like to know if any of you have any Ideas

Several years ago I stayed in a lovely BB in Somerset.i think it was called Wight cottage, near Bridport.a bit pricey but food was delicous and it was beautiful setting down a lane. Will have a look at my google map to see if I can remember more details,
Had a look and above mostly wrong! so much for my memory.

Have a look at the website.....

I had to look it up Toni. The first post was from memory and was totally wrong. Bridport is in Dorset and Bridgewater is in Somerset.
I would recommend it and hope Queenfan gets to see this thread as I was a little late seeing it,

Hi Elizabeth yes, it's OK we don't go until 27th the place you went to sounds great, my Daughter Laura thinks she starts her next placement on the stroke ward, at the hospital on my birthday so I think we will only be able to go for the the day :-(( but we are still looking forward to it, thank you so much for the info

Hi Sue,
The bathrooms arent so nice. Just a room built in the corner with a teeny shower but everything else made up for it. There are fields out the front and you can go for a lovely walk. Food was fab.....

We went because we took our son to the BIBIC centre, british institute for brain injured children. We decided to make a small holiday of it so wanted to pick a nice place to stay and wanted local, fresh home-cooked food.
I was very ill when we stayed so didnt do much else.OH took the boys for a long walk. We also stopped at the large shopping centre where they sell reduced goods- cant remember the name.
