Good morning all..... just wondering if any of you have PMR ?..... I am still waiting blood results and diagnosis of what is making my arms so painful as GP suspects PMR, so am looking for info. ( I have arthritis too in my neck and R shoulder )

Nope, I'm afraid I don't but it's nice to hear from you again, dougal. I hope you get some clarification soon. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi Dougal
Welcome to the forum. I have bumped up a couple of old threads for you to glance over. I hope they may help a little. There are some peeps on here with PMR.
I am sure they will answer your post soon,

Hi
Iwas diagnosed with PMR Dec 2009, and yes can be very painful if not treated properly, good old prednisilone has helped me a lot0 -
Dougal, have replied on your original thread. I've had PMR for 10 years or more, diagnosed 8.5 years ago. Also diagnosed with CGA a year ago as a little extra present and have Polyarthritis too.......plus several other pluses which have acumulated over the years!
Please PM me if you would like to!

Hello Annie,
You certainly seem to got the t shirt when it comes to painful diseases! thanks for your info. I will look into it further, the more I look , the more it seems likely that I have PMR, if so am hoping steroids will help it.
