intramuscular injection

Hi gang hope this finds you all well 8)

Has anyone been in intramuscular injection gold?
my Rhummy says this is the next step for me

    yes I did have one gold injection....but unfortunately had a reaction to it (itchy rash all over) :( so that was it for me.!

    Don't know what type of arther you have but you might be interested in this article in the Daily Mail today about how they are researching using gold injections for OA

    Hi phil

    I used to be on intramuscular gold injections years ago.
    It was the first drug they tried on me 22 years ago.
    I had big doses at first until i had had 1000 mg and then i think it was every fortnight. It worked for me for about 6 years. I didn't know they still used that medication. I am now on methx leflunomide,celebrex and hydroxi.
