hello to you all
does anyone know how long it takes to get a desicion from esa after you have had a medical i had mine last thurs also will dla use this medical to make a descision for my claim

    Well I had mine on a wednesday and got decision on saturday....So basically it can happen as quick as that or not.....No guidelines im afraid...

    Hi noodles :D

    I had my ATOS/ ESA medical 12 days ago and counting...no result yet :roll:

    when the decision letter goes out seems to vary widely. Hope you don't have to wait too long. :wink:

    someone on one of the other threads (can't remember who or which thread sorry :oops:) said that dwp used the info from the ATOS medical to inform the decision into her dla application too.
    I have no experience of this happening.... just read about it. :|

    maybe that peep will answer your post and give you a bit more info about it.

    Hi Noodles

    The DLA will use the ATOS medical report to make a decision regarding your DLA application.

    They did with mine, totally ignoring all the errors that I pointed out that were on the ATOS report.

    Hope you are lucky enough to have had an honest Doc.
