Carrying on from my previous threads regarding my DLA epic. I have received my first response from the letter I sent.

The DWP have responded saying they take all complaints very seriously and they are looking into my points. They are getting in touch with the medical board (ATOS) to see why the report was changed.

I seem to have ruffled some feathers, although I think this due to the people I cc'd into the letter. Looks like the DWP will try to blame ATOS although the report must have been changed by them according to the dates.

I haven't yet received the full written reason for the loss of my Tribunal. Will be interesting to see how long that takes considering you have a very tight timescale to appeal to the Upper Tribunal.

I will let you know if I hear anything else or get anymore responses.

I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

Good for you. Keep ruffling and keep copies of everything you send and receive. [Text deleted]. You shouldn't have to do this but unless people fight back they'll get away with it. DD

yes good luck. I've attached a link from a chap who has been 'having a go' . Often frightening in his persistence but shows what you can be up against.

I have had a second response, this time from ATOS. They are now carrying out a full investigation. I should have their findings in 4 weeks, if there are any delays they will inform me.

I think I may have rocked the boat!

I've just realised I never sent a copy of the letter to ATOS! The DWP must have sent a copy. Looks a sif the blame game is going to be played.

    Hi

I guess they have asked ATOS for an explanation ..... it will be very interesting (fascinating, in fact!) to see how this all develops Ann..

I agree it will be interesting to see who is going to take the fall for this. I have them on falsifying a report (lies), amending the report & breach of the DPA.

I don't expect to get awarded DLA now but hopeefully I wil get some answers.

    Hi Anne,

Well done for rocking the boat and I really hope they get back to you with a satisfactory reason why it was changed! Hang in them and make them accountable for the way they behave. Love and a ((( ))) as well as a bucket of fortitude as its got to be hard to slog it out so well done. Cris xx
