Hello everyone, I have arthur and fibro so not too good really. Hoping to make some good friends here. As I'm sure you all know, these conditions can cause isolation as normal socialising can be a nightmare. I'm going to attend the local group (Newcastle) when I can - its an evening meeting which is a bad time for me but if I rest all day I may be able to do it. Enough for now - will chat tomorrow.
Bye Helen

Hello, helpetty, and welcome. We are a friendly lot and are mostly to be found on the LWA forum - that's where we post moans and rants and grumbles, all concerned with the day-to-day irritations and nuisances of arthritis. Chitchat is more lighthearted, so you will find people there too. Read the threads then jump in with your ideas, observations and experiences - new voices are alwys welcome! I hope you have a reasonable day today. DD (who is up to her armpits in water in soggy East Anglia)
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben

    Hi Helen

A warm welcome from me. The people on here are very nice. We try to support one another with advice and tips.

As Daisy has said the LWA is where most questions are answerd about arthur. You may find yourself answering someone's question.

We also have the CChat#Forum where we relax and have a laugh. Sometimes talking about arthur all the time can become depressing.

There are always lots of threads on there. Y9ou might like to put your opinion so do not be afraid to do that.

We have Val's cafe where you can have anything you like to eat or drink. The girls are very friendly. We do moan about arthur over a cuppa or we have a laugh.
Call in and meet us in there.

You will not have to feel so isolated any more as some of us feel the same.

    Love Trish xxx
