Went to doctors today, got my steroid injection. The GP and nurse were both appalled by the way I've been treated. The doctor had a copy of my letter, she said it was well written and got my point across.I spoke to a lady from PALS yesterday she also thought I had been treated badly and she is going to try to get me an appointment, but not with the consultant, one of the registrars instead. So things are now looking up, I just wish I didn't have to fight for what should be my right. Hopefully when the steroids kick in I'll be able to deal with the husband problem a bit better.

Don't overdo it on the Husband front. Use guile and cunning rather than your well-honed kung-fu skills. Guile and cunning will make your new-found energy last longer. Kung-fu will use it all up, straight away. DD

Hi Nanasue, hope jab kicks in and makes a difference. Sounds more promising re next appointment - hope it comes through soon. Good that GP and PALS are on your side.
