Hospital Bingo

I'm filling up my Hospital Bingo card with yet another department....today I got a referral to orthopaedics for my knee, they are going to look at removing the 'loose body' that used to be a large part of my kneecap. I also get to go to cardiology for my x rays as its less busy than the main department....maybe I can get hubby to buy me lunch whilst i'm there.
I'm just glad that something is going to be done about it as my cheeky son has now worked out that he can floor me in a tantrum with a well aimed kick :x
Its depressing when I realise quite how many departments within hospitals I visited now and thats not including the 12 yrs in Rheumatology. I wonder what the prize is if you manage to work you all the way round the hospital?

Oh you have made me think back now. I've done pathology, rheumatology, gastroenterology, dermatology, Xray and MRI, breast screening, lung function, orthopaedics and oncology. Also general surgery and stayed in a number of wards. I'm too old for both maternity and paediatrics however, so I won't get a prize. I swear I could save a great deal of time if I just moved in. It's a big enough place, lots of cupboards to sleep in. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Heh, heh, heh! This made me laugh! Hospital bingo cards! What would the prize be? At my Trust it would have to be free parking. That would save me a fortune!0

Hi I seem to have been to a lot of departmetns in the last couple of years, rhaumatology, x-ray MRI scan, having another on Sunday, plastic surgery, neurology, physio, ot, hand clinic, oh and I've had a mammogram but, that was the routine one, does it count?
At my hospital I think that the prize would have to be a reserved parking place on the day of the appointment!

Glad I'm not the only one flying from one dept to the other, I also have 6 different hosp under belt too.
No wonder my files are in a mess. They should put it all on disc and let me look after it.
Bingo cards great idea. For all the waiting we have to do a free cup of tea and currant teacake would do me as a prize.

Wow, I'm so boring ... orthopedics, orthopedics, orthopedics ...
Healthy body... shame about the bones!
SpeedyI have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.0 -
