September. It comes around with monotonous regularity, a bittersweet month. DD

Autumn is my fave season so looking forward to it.
The lawn is littered with plums and apples and the smell is lovely,

Lovely time of year I love the Autumn colors and as I have a gammy leg it will be the most enjoyable this year as I can drive around and look admire the changes without having to get out and walk.

Sunny here right now but nights are drawing in, so less solar energy being deposited on the Earths surface, the UV rays that hit the ground in the day are given up as infrared ray's during the night, also little cloud layer allows this heat to the escape into the dark void of space, winter will soon be here no doubt about it!.

It was a little chilly when out on my bike this morning at 7.45 but lovely now. Blue skies, white clouds and intermittent sunshine. 8) :D:D Weekend here is meant to be similar too. I will be making the most of these last few days of sunshine. 8) :D:D I shall be living in the Now while the good weather lasts. :)

The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.

If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.

Glorious day here, but definitely Autumn mornings and evenings.

I prefer Spring, hate Winter and really didn't want it to appear this early to say the least of it...at the moment it is lovely, perhaps we'll get an Indian summer? Several weeks of it, with a bit of luck.

    I blame the Government myself.

OOh, tone, I love figs and almonds :!: :D I'm jealous, but not of the 40 degree heat in the summer.

I dislike autumn, too drippy and murky and too many moulds in the air. A proper winter is excellent: cold, bright blue sky and sparkling sun is fabulous but the greyness we usually get is atrocious. Last winter was splendid but unlikely to happen again for a fair few years, which I suppose is good news on the bills front. Anyway, not many days to go until the world turns round and the days begin to get longer. DD
