Hi all

Hope everyone has had a good day.

Been a bit of good day today.... I went in with Nikki for docs app this morning he's going to write a letter for ESA, he has referred Nik to a rheumatologist and Occupational therapy and her pain meds have been changed. Feels a bit more positive at last! have written the letter for ESA reconsideration so just waiting on docs letter, he's usually pretty quick with things like that, and then we can send it off yeay. Oh and Nik has been given a walking stick today which has made it easier to get in and out of the chair and support walking around she says she feel a lot more balanced and safe. So pretty good day apart from she's shattered now after docs this morning but had to be done.

Sending u all big hugs (hoping to share the good luck)

Cat x

    Hi Cat

I am pleased for Nick - that stick will help her no end. She is good to use it - most of us make a fuss  But it really does help

AND a supportive GP and your letter done ready for the off then for ESA :D Well done both of you.

Hope the new pain meds do the job too. Doesn't life feel so much more under control when you know where you are going? :)

    LOve

Hi There I hope things continue to improve Cat, I know it makes a big difference when able to get around a little. I was just about demented when It was so much effort just to get up from the chair and walk to the kitchen. So I know how she feels.

    Hi Cat :D

so good to hear your good news .... such a lot's been achieved with just one great appointment!

you sound really upbeat and positive. having you and a supportive doc for Nikki has really turned things around and I hope it won't be too long before the rheummy appointment comes through. :D

It's lovely that you see caring for your partner as an opportunity for both of you.... that's worth more than gold.

    keep posting Cat.

Love to you and Nikki. :D
