Hello
Sorry to hear you have feeling so tat just now.
Yep, sometimes it does feel like one thing after another.
I'd say though, always get everything checked out so you can have peace of mind.
Hope you have a good weekend.

It happens. We have reduced immune systems, we're packing ourselves full of nasty drugs which may or may not work, we're tired all the time thanks to active arthritis or dormant arthritis, we rarely get a break from side effects and / or pain. I think some are more prone to ill-health than others, however. Worrying about it makes it worse, noting every little thing becomes almost an obsession, and makes things worse. Try not to over-do things, try to rest whenever you can so you give your body a chance to cope and be kind to yourself. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi deborahjane
Easy for me to say but do try not to worry - it really only makes things worse
I get the sternum aches too - have had them on and off for years - lots of others get them too.
The breathlesness could be anxiety - I think you are very very worried. I hope you can relax a bit if you can? A/C have a relaxation tape which might help?
The rest of it I make note of and tell rheumy when I see him unless I am REALLY scared then I do see the GP.
I do hoe you feel better soon Love

hi, im going to mention it to the rheumatologist when i go in a couple of weeks, i blamed in on the way i sit for ages but dont think it is that,it feels like a muscle or tendon cos very tender when i press on it but it goes away after about 3 days, the first time i had it it was very painful, breathlessness may be due to anxiety cos of it being a pain in the chest but best to get it checked out but i think mine could be costochondritis which is apparently harmless, anyway tc,lucy x0

A random thought about the chest pain: could this be connected to the intercostal muscles, ie those between the ribs? I pullled mine turning a mattress, they took more than a year to heal. It was very uncomfortable while it lasted. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Wow, i've been getting this pain 4 a few weeks 2, wondered what it could be, as have if for a few days then goes away! Comes back again, not been to docs either! Didnt think was any point. So maybe it could be arthritis related then.... i shall ask the rheumy next tym im there. x0

Best to get it checked out with the doc... or even better, the rheummy.
Might all be part of that never ending story of living with arther  but it's not good to second guess. you are worried and have had this before so that is reason enough for finding out if it's inflammation caused by the RA.
let us know how you are?
