Hi
How about a note pad? You can then write down things when you remember them and look at them when you cannor.
Don't worry about it, we all forget things I know I do so I jot them down.
We do not mind if you forget us, we know you do not mean it neither does anyone else.
When I went to a disabled centre some peeps had books and say for example a picture of a chair or a person's name they would have them in their books and then remember.

Yellow Post-It Notes stuck on things and a good computer/phone appointments reminder Calendar.
Counting things that I do regularly, such as needing 4 things when I go out, (keys, cash, reading glasses, phone).

I think we all suffer from not remembering things.
I look at my calander every evening & first thing in the morning to see whats going on.
Stepson,OH & my stuff. appointments, prescription collection & ive even got the bin collection dates next to it.Can i remember what bin goes out when  No.
I write appointments down as soon as i get them or i wouldnt get there.
I also have a pad next to computor as i have to write notes as i answer pms & a have a seperate note pad in kitchen,as i run out of stuff i write it in pad ready for shopping day & guess what..I forget to take it half the time. Any answers for that one

Well we do make mistakes quite often! But generally we get the drift.
Now you have Toni calling Oneday Sylvia (Only 49) but she is forgiven because I get those two muddled up because they both begin with O !

Well, if you want to be really creepy  keep a little log book: note names, type of arthritis and any drugs they mentioned, plus details of families etc. That is entering stalker territory I suppose but if your memory is that bad . . . . . . .
Or do as I do, reply to a post then cheerfully state that you cannot remember all their details so a little refresher would help.
I don't have a book - honestly! DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
louise (this is louises thread isn't it)
Don't worry, I can never remember either
perhaps we should have a book like dd suggests but all that writing would take me ages.
Everyone will just hav to forgive me if i just smile and say yes like you do when you don't hear things right

Hi Julie - I do that when I dont hear properly but people just look at me strange :!: . Sometimes you have to guess what they are saying and make up the rest of the sentance :!: :!: Now that can sometimes lead to very interesting coversations :!: :!:

I was going to post that DD!
I write everything down in my diary and if I don't have it with me, I ask whoever I'm with for a scrap paper and pen to jot it down. We also follow our kitchen calendar religiously and, as my middle child has the memory of an elephant (like her dad), we tell her things to remember quite often.
I'm also forever writing lists of things to do or buy.
At work meetings, if I think of something not relating to the meeting which I must do, I make a note of it for later. I also write down things I've thought of to say when someone else is speaking so I can refer back to it when it's my turn. That way, I'm actually listerning to the person speaking instead of just listening for an opening for when I can speak, if you get what I mean.
Failing all else, I get my husband to remind me!
