i dont know if i should take my methx tonight,just took my other meds,but i came out all itchy last week when i took them,still itchy now.trouble is i had a flare up when i stopped them before,just can,t make my mind up. :? :?

    HI Deborah, did you show you rash to the pharmacist/doc - what did they say? If it happens again - the rash gets worse/doesn't go then maybe you need to see the doc about eliminating them one at a time to find the culprit. You can't think of anything else that is new that could have caused the itching different toiletries/soap powder etc?

    I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

    I agree with speedy..... any 'itch' or 'rash' while your on Mtx has to be seen so that the docs can 'eliminate' Mtx as being the cause.

    Hope you are ok?.... what did you decide to do?

    Hi, would it matter what time you take them, if you are allergic to one, then whenever you take it the result will be the same or am I missing something? Are you on more than one new med? If so you need advise if it happens again. Sorry I may not have understood the problem you have properly. :oops: Love Sue

    i did take them,apart from splitting headache when i woke im not too bad still itchy a bit,i did go last week to doc about itching and mole that had gone purple had blood test and going back friday,he said methx can sometimes cause bruising and itching,find out more friday,thanks all for replies, :):):):):)
