Our very own pink flamingo is off tomorrow for her prosthetic appointment. She is a little uncertain, as her stump has not yet properly healed and she has to be measured and possibly fitted with a liner (I think I have the right name there). Come on everyone, bring your usual accompaniments - in my case fizz and strawberries. We'll be there, julie47pf! DD

    You and your brie! We leave at 9.15, appointment at 10. That is sparrowphart as far as I'm concerned, but pf describes it as late. DD

    you are a great lot we will have fun i am sure.

    Just asked OH to bring some sticky buns and hand wipes from morrisons and asked him to bring a surprise for us too.

    Don't worry too much about it. They may take a cast of how it is now and just alter it.

    They may give you a bandage for making the swelling go down. Or give you like a sock to put over it to do the same thing.

    You still got plenty of time before the wedding, which I know you want to do.
