Oh how we are all so entitled to a good moan ~ Im sure people are sick of my moaning at home sometimes so that's what we're here for :D

Sorry you had such a rough night. I often wake up stiff, swollen and feeling rough until my meds kick in. I hope you start to feel some relief soon xx

Be nice to have a magic wand and wave it all away for you hun.

But in the meantime, until I discover magic, I'm sending you a hug instead, a gentle one of course.

    Take care.

    Hi Coco,

I feel your misery, I made the mistake of standing in the cold and rain last night with the dog at training and oh boy am I paying the price for it. Doesn't help that we keep having power cuts so my heating never gets to stay on long, and there is not enough hot water for a a nice shower to warm me through.

Oh well, more tea mug hugging for me. Luckily I don't have to work all day as I am off for my bone scan so I can go and sit in a nice drafty hospital instead :-)

Fingers crossed the drugs kick in and you feel a bit brighter soon.

cold and damp and fluctuating air pressure.... that's what I blame for stirring up arther.... although 'he' doesn't need and excuse. :!:

    Hi Coco,

Sorry you had a rough night and hope that you are resting up and have had a but more sleep now? Sometimes its the tablets that we take that make that feeling and also interrupted sleep or heavy sleep and its all down to the bone thing isn't it?!

When do you next see someone about the bones? I really hope you are starting to feel a bit better now and leaving you a ((( ))) Cris x

Try to keep as warm as you can - can finances stretch as far as an electric blanket? Fleece blankets are also good for a snuggle, especially with a hottie in there too. Take the painkillers, they do help to take the edge off. I think it takes most of us a little while to get going in the mornings - I do stretches and relaxations stuff before I stir to try to warm things up a bit - doesn't always work tho! Take care. DD

    Hi Coco

can you take your tablets before you get up in the mornings? thats what I do - normally an hour before Iget up so they have taken effect before I have to move :!: :!:

I agree with DD - an electric blanket or fleece with def help!! I have 2 hotwater bottles - 1 for my feet and the other for the rest of my body :!: :!:

Take care and hope you feel better soon.

hiya, still feeling rough but can move a bit better than this morning, had the drs this afternoon, she said i looked awful....cheers lol. told me to increase the diclofenic to 3 times a day when feeling this rough, she also signed my paperwork for housing for me so will get that into the council tomorrow.

cant afford an electric blanket but will ask for one for xmas, maybe everyone will chip in a bit.

im now back on the sofa, blanket and hot waterbottle to the ready.

thankyou so much for your kind words it means a lot to know im not alone.

my mate dropped me down a fleecy blanket and said to put it on top of my sheet, lay on it and then have the quilt aparently it keeps you much warmer than if you just put it on top. so im going to try it.

hope you are all ok today xxxx

    Hi Coco,
Hope you are a bit better today. Great that the dr signed your forms one step nearer.

Bed socks might be worth a try. Did the under blanket help?

I wonder sometimes if all the pills end up counter-acting each other, but at least you had some shut-eye, which is a good thing. I hope you have some sunshine where you are - we do, and it doesn't half help! I am sulking as I have to go and vacuum and I know it's going to hurt. Sooner I start, the sooner I'm done but I think I need a small coffee first! DD
