    Hi freeview and welcome to the forum :D

    I haven't had a TKR but am about to see a knee ortho too to find out what's going on particularly with my right knee; I've no idea whether the knee has reached the stage? where I'd be offered any surgical intervention(s) but it is increasingly painful and restrictive.

    I've been interested to read the advice you've been given thus far on your thread about the timing of surgery from peeps who've already been through a TKR.

    I do hope your appointment goes well and you get the help you need...especially as you can't take meds that would reduce the inflammation; that must be so hard for you.:roll:

    one thing's for sure, you will get lots of support from the good people here.
