Me too Annie, I'll hve a sherbert dip aswell. I was picking up some of those lucky bags from Tescos the other day for the grandchildren. They cost me about £2 58 each. I was remembering back when I think they use to cost me 9d when I was little girl - mind you. that was nearly 60 years go now.

I can remember going into the local sweetshop and spending a farthing.....if I had 3 or 4 of them, I was rich!

    Hi happy shoppers

Hope you are not feeling too sick. Ah - such memories.

I love Caramac as well toni and wonky. I remember that the dog we had at the time also loved it and he was quite home. On the way back from the shop if he refused to walk, which he did, we used to bribe him home with caramac. Probably not very good for him!!!

Also Snowball, you have reminded me of floral gums - they tasted like soap - yuck!!!!

    Keep your requests coming in

    Hi Katekelly

Fantastic news!! There seems to be a lot of sweet shops opening up. We have one in our town and my sister always pop in there to get some sweets if we go into town. They have a fantastic selection and have all the ones you can't find in supermarkets.

On a Friday and Saturday there is always a massive queue right out of the shop, it is popular with all ages.

    Happy sweet journeys for you!!!
