I just wanted to share my 'Happy Day' with everyone.

Finished my latest OU assignment last night - oh boy was I glad to get that one done.

The sun is shining :D

Will get to see grandson this afternoon :D:D

And we are going on holiday with my parents on Sat.

I'm totally exhausted and could quite easily sleep the rest of the day away after doing my assignment the last few days (but don't care cause it's done). Arthur is telling me in no uncertain terms that I've been pushing myself, but I shall ignore him as much as possible because I have packing to do and I intend to enjoy the rest of the day.

Hope some of you are having a happy day and not a so so day

Take care

Chicara

Woohoo! I love it when people share good moods, makes me smile!

Have you finished your OU course? What was it about? I'm doing an English degree with the OU, last year starts in October.

Thank you for your replies. It was a nice day - always is when we get to see 'our little treasure'. Wasn't so good yesterday though as he didn't want anything to eat and was crying with tummy ache by the time Mummy got here. Think it might have something to do with the fact that he knows MUmmy and Daddy are off to Bestival today!! Bless him.

Oh CB - I remember watching the Happy Days with the Fonz - I was only very little though - among some of my earliest memories you understand

Katie and Nina - I'm doing a psychology degree - one more assignment and the exam to go for this year - then DD307 to do next year - or the year after if I decide to have a break and hopefully I shall have a BSc (Honours) in Psychology.

    Take care all

Daughter wants me to ring her every 15 minutes and scream "Mom, Mom!" down the phone.. she is feeling lonely...........she told me that the leap from the Disney Channel to Jeremy Kyle was very traumatic and she has taken to the sherry.

Happy day at the Rehab Residence, grandson who will be 4 next week started nursery at his local school today, this was the scene and all you mums and dads have been through it.. a line of very tiny children in uniform  mothers crying.." my baby..sob sob!!" Children crying, but oh so much louder.....teachers full of enthusiasm jollying everyone along :D My grandson, who is the apple of my eye and my best mate (his words) was cool about it but not quite sure if he should join in the crying

Ah HAH! I knew there was a soft side to you, Len, you grumpy old b*gger :D

Glad he was OK - my daughters never cried either, all 3 of them. I was a bit miffed actually - I know I want them to be indepent, but not THIS independent!
