hospital appt tomorrow

Hi
As most of you know my THr dislocated last week. I am off to the hospital in the morning to hopefully get some answers.
I am not driving yet, as advised at local hospital when it was put back in place. My Mum had offered to take me as hubby working, but he has asked for time off as he is worried about me travelling in my mums little car. I was in a lot of discomfort in ours, and the seats in ours are quite high.
i am looking forward to talking it through, but concerned about getting fobbed off. I haven`t met this surgeon before as my other one has gone off to a private hospital (money grabber!!! :roll: )
I will let you know what happens

    Definitely wishing you good luck for tomorrow, NB.

    If necessary then the new consultant could contact the old ortho for info ... though hopefully everything will be in the file.

    I do hope you get some answers and more information.

    I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

    Good luck for tomorrow, it will be very interesting to how and why it dislocated after so long, lets hope you get some answers, fingers crossed.

    He surely must give you some answers as to why it dislocated and how to prevent it happening again.?

    It'll be good for you to have your hubby there with you.... so give him instructions beforehand to insist on that surgeon giving you some straight answers. :!:
