    Hi Tonesp

I agree - it would be great (for me) if there was attendant service!

I like what they do in the States, well in the films anyway. Fill the tank, (which doesn't require a second mortgage unlike here) clean your windscreen, check your oil, they would probably top up your washer bottle too. Proper service. I only see attended garages in Norfolk - there are none around here. DD

PS I have had ideas Marion, but I can't put them here!

I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

There was an interesting article in the Sunday Times (I think - I've read four Sunday papers today) about a lady who has a second job as a revenge specialist. That has set me thinking. :D

That's an idea DD - you would be good at that - and could probably charge a fortune!!

Blimey. That is soooo not me! A lighthearted post about fishing wire, designed to raise a smile (which I think it did) has now turned into a new career? I am quite a nice person, really. Or maybe there is a darker side to DD.

This actually makes me think of my second day at work, when I was done I was in a very happy mood and I was walking home, even though it hurts I have no other way so I was walking home and I went across the street (one that's never used) and at the same time this older lady comes up with her car and started yelling at me because I was crossing...
It got me so upset I felt like attacking her car with my pocket knife...let's just say I didn't but it ruined the rest of my evening...
It's during those times I wish it'd be allowed to carry a paintball gun on yourself :P
Sorry I'm having a bad flare up today...some anger needs to get out lol

Older people can have very bad manners sunnyhours. Not all of them, but some, yes, definitely. The young are often blamed for their behaviour, but some of the old'uns are just as bad. DD

DD I think you might make a very good revenge lady :lol::lol: Sorry flower ((( ))) xx Hey how much you going to charge and can I book an appointment

    Hi Fred,

Old, middle and young people have an element who lack manners or social graces I am afraid. You mustn't let some thoughtless comments upset you though.

Oh I love the idea of a paintball gun for revenge.... mine would often be empty :lol: Cris x

    Hi Marion,

Hope you haven't let it ruin your evening or week end?Slurps to the girls and a ((( ))) for you. xx

Well the problem is I kinda understand her, cuz most people my age seem to take pleasure in "blocking" the road or taking too much time crossing to get the drivers angry...so I can't really blame her for generalizing. The thing is that from work to home is a 30min walk so by the time I'm almost home the pain in my left knee gets very bad so I have to slow down, that's why I chose the usually unoccupied street to take my time...
I don't think it's really age related, it's mostly a society problem where most people aren't patient. I guess it just makes us appreciate patient people :D
