thank you so much Trisher for starting this thread and to everyone for offering to come with me - you are all true stars
not exactly nervous, but after the mention of a biopsy  I am not quite sure what to expect could be there 5 mins or 5 hours .... though I hope not the latter
Appointment is 2.10pm ..... leaving here about 1 to go to get my blood results first, just in case they need them. Can't believe how hard it is for one dept to see info from another dept or hospital  you would think it was all sorted these days
right .... you lot are making me hungry, so off to the cafe for some cake to take my bedtime meds with
thanks again folks .... I'll try not to drive fast over all the speed bumps .... & do please keep the noise down whilst we are in the waiting room ... last time there were a few funny noises coming my way
hugs

A late passenger for the pocket. Sorry, there's always one :!: But better late than never, so squeeze me in please :!:0

Jan
Would you like me to put a chatheter in. I have had one for years now although mine is in a different place but I used to do my own so I'm well qualified.
Ya won't have to keep running. Right sterile gloves a chathetrer should be about 12 ml with a 10 ml balloon (not party balloons) right I'm ready for you. Don't worry you will be fine. If ya put on a night bag that should be ok til we get home again.

Right girls ..... I'm back so you can all climb out thank you!
(I do hope it was only girls in my pocket    or that the boys averted their eyes at certain parts of today's appointment   )
We missed all the speed bumps and I don't remember any shrieks so I do hope everyone got there and back without incident
Thank you to whoever it was who, during the whole body examination, decided to shield my modesty with whelk shells and sellotape it gave us all a laugh Sorry I had to put you on the floor but there wasn't anywhere else!
seriously though, it was a very thorough appointment, with a nurse, specialist doctor, registrar and consultant all taking a peek (sometimes at more than I'd anticipated  ) and the upshot of it is I'm having some sort of 'mild  ' drug reaction, most probably to the Leflunomide (remember that's the one I'm Still taking  ) and not the MTX that they have stopped
Have got to get more lotions and potions once I've handed this letter into my GP - got an appointment with her on Wednesday morning unless I can get on the phone sharpish in the morning and bag one of the 4 left for tomorrow afternoon
hugs
Wonky0 -
Glad it's over and with a positive outcome, Wonky! I knew the whelks would come in handy sooner or later.......have used them myself (but I needed a larger size in whelks).
Annie0 -
great to be out of pocket did enjoy the floor but the dust under there you should have seen it valval0
