hi guy's just popped in to say we are back wow what a place 38 degrees back to rain everything went smoothly going, thomas cook done as promised priority boarding and so forth, the hotel was lovely so were the staff and jordan well he had a ball stayed in the pool most of the time which really helped him and the chair was used when we went out because it was very hilly 8) , then bang everything changed because my older son (23) decided to go to the hotel disco slipped up and dislocated his knee and ruptured his ligament
:shock: :shock: :shock: so 24hrs spent in the hospital and a thigh to foot plaster cast thank god for insurance so coming home was an adventure 2 wheel chairs 1 plaster cast and 2tired parents lol still if all went ok it wouldn't be normal .Hope you are all well ,just now catching up with all the posts so many in one week :shock: jenny and jordan

Glad to hear you had a lovely time and everything went smoothly, shame about your older son, but the fact you were so organised obviously made it easier. It's good that Jordan enjoyed it so much, hopefully that will set him up for the winter. Nice to have you back.

Wow, what a "holiday!" So glad Jordan was well and the combination of the pool and using the chair helped. Tell the kids next year the parents are riding in wheelchairs and the kids are doing the pushing!!
SpeedyI have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.0 -

Oh my goodness, what an holiday, I was thinking about you and hoping you where all enjoiying the sunshine, well at least you did, sorry your son had the accident, I hope he recovering well.

Really pleased Jordan enjoyed himnself so much too....
BUT! your poor other son :shock: I hope he is ok now? I am shocked! TWO wheelchairs :shock: It's so unbeleivable it's almost funny (not though )

2 wheelchairs! My goodness how on earth did you manage? Still other son got a taste of what it is like but of course he is lucky cos he will get better. No sorry he isnt lucky cos he spoilt his holiday.
