I got to see my GP about the spots and she said that they were due to my reduced immune system. They appear to be on each hair follical and when they grow they become infected. There is a name for them but I have forgotten it. I have been given some shower gel to try 1st to see if that helps then onto whatever next if not. I also got some Pastilles called natural saivary stimulant to treat my sjorgens syndrom. hope these work because salivese spray didn't.

Also with the unstable angina which I now have its one hard hill to climb litterally. I become breathless very quickly. Well we can't complain HAHAHA. I hope this shower gel works because I feel really itchy and scratchy (no pun intended).

It also looks like the bad weather is on ois way so I will be staying indoors more now. Well enough from me for now. Hope some of you get a respite from the pain for a while XXX

    Hi
I do hope the shower gel works for you, itching is horrible, I think there have been a few people on here with this, I know its something to do with the meds, sorry I am probably telling you something you already know.
Hope you feel better very soon, and get the right medication for the angina.
    Good Luck

    Hi John :)

That was good that you could get a gp appointment today. Let's hope the shower gel and pastilles work for you - and quickly.

    Chin up,

    Hi John,

glad you got to see the doc today and I hope the gel really helps... and quickly.

There have been others on the forum with itchy spots... infected folliculitis? so maybe you'll hear more from then about the treatments they had.

It's a constant battle isn't it? we need to dampen the immune system cause of arther... and then need treatment due to greater susceptibility to infections.

...hope you've managed to catch your breath now John after your 'uphill struggle':lol:

    HI John

your description sounds like the folliculitis that I was originally diagnosed with. It's infected hair follicles, and those of us on immune suppressing meds are more prone to it apparently.

Hope your meds work for you.

Mine turns out (having see the Dermatology consultant) to be more likely to be a reaction to the Leflunomide that I take :(

However, the combination of betnovate cream and Balneum Plus bath oil have certainly helped to calm the itching ..... it was driving me round the bend !!

    good luck!

Sorry to hear of your additional symptoms to deal with.

I don't know if these lumps and bumps are the same as mine but even if not, I find that once I have dealt with the infectious bits to speed up the skin in healing up good old vaseline helps greatly.

I sometimes get ulcer type things on the inside of my nostril and the vaseline helps.

Just telling you just incase it can help you.

    Have a decent day today.
