Hello, I'm sorry for you both, thats a long time in the scanner and having to lie on the uncomfortable convayor belt. Still he's had it now, lets hope it gives the docs some information that will help Jorden. I think he's right to have a bath and bed now, I found 40mins tireing! I ached everywhere the next day, as it was so hard and uncomfortable, so don't be surprised if he is achey tomorrow, I don't want to worry you, just the opposite. If he feels tired and achey, I did too and had to take more rest and slept a lot for a couple of days. No harm in the long run. I'm still waiting for the result, so I think no news is good news. Either that or they've lost it!!! I hope you both have a good nights rest. Love Sue0

Hi Jenny,
how's Jordan feeling this morning?.. that was some long ordeal of an MRI  good on Jordan for being able to cope with that.... many an adult would have been asking them to stop.
good thing is that with it being so thorough it will give rheummy a very clear picture of Jordan's joints.
hope the DLA is granted too.
hoe you both have a restful day.

Hi Jenny
My daughter (15) is to have an MRI of her brain soon. Wondered if Jordan has any advice for her. She has been having scary migraines which seem to paralyse her on one side of the body - like a stroke.
I have told her what i know from my own experience, but it can't be quite the same when you are a young person can it?
Thanks
Love

hi toni ,sorry to hear of your daughters condition it must be very scary for you both. Jordan has never had a scan of his brain he has had scans of his hips knees and ankles but i do know the scan for heads lasts about 15 mins the radioligists are very good and will stop if she finds it to clostrifobic sorry sp not good in the morning .The only advise jordan can give is just remember the scan is the first road to recovery close your eyes and think of your favorite pop songs and recite the words in your head and it's soon over. Hope this is of some help good luck xx jenny and jordan0
