Tocilizumab

Hi everybody my husband has been to see his new rummy today and they have sugested that he might be eligible for a trial of Tocilizumab he will find out on monday weather he will get on the trial as he has other health problems so they will have to check and make sure he is eligible.
i wonder if anybody else has tried this drug ? if so how did you find it ?
He will be one of twenty people on the trial so we think he is really lucky
any info on this would be good my husband has got RA which they have found really hard to control.

    I wish him well and with it being a trial he will be well monitored.

    Has he got a start date?

    I have heard of it, but never tried it. I echo ironic completely: the best of luck with it, I hope it works for him. DD

    I know this drug has had some good results (according to my Rheumy Nurse, who had 5 patients also on the trial) so I hope it works for your husband.
