Morning everyone, hoping you are all having a good start to the weekend. After just one dose of tramadol I started to feel a bit better, just waiting to seee what difference meloxicam makes. Just having even slightly less pain makes such a difference to your mood. It just goes to show getting the right meds can make all the difference and it's my GP that's sorted it for me cos she listened and took the time to ask and answer questions, it's a shame the rheumatologists aren't the same. Sorry I just don't have a lot of faith in them now when they let you go through hell just cos they think they're the experts and know best, which should be true but isn't. Sorry for the rant, just needed to get it off my chest.

It's lovely to hear you are feeling a little better/brighter, that has made a good start to my day. Don't get carried away tho nansue, still rest, still plot against the husband (I have two absolutely wicked new ideas) and enjoy your day. DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben

    Brilliant news Sue :!:

Sounds like you have the right meds  Once you have them life can be so much better can't it?

Also think you have a good GP - can I borrow him/her?!

    Love

    Hi Sue,

Nice to read your feeling a bit better/brighter. The right tablets make such a huge difference. Glad your gp was so helpful and gave you a bit of time. I am lucky my rumo tends to give time and know how much it helps. I hope yours will learn that one day. Cris x

    Hi Nanasue

I take Tramadol and its the only think that helps with my pain. I always go to my GP when I'm feeling rough - the consultant's don't even ask if my meds are ok. I was on co-dydramol but they didn't even touch the pain. I think maybe the consultant's specialism lies elsewhere.

Anyway, glad to hear you're feeling so much better.

    Regards

Hi I have tramadol slow release, which the pain clinic advised, rather than the ordinary ones I was on. The ordinary ones worked but the pain would come back before I was due the next dose, so they suggested the slow release version and the work quite well! Getting the pain killer that works for you is important but, it can take a long time of trial and error. Unfortunatly what works for me may not help you. Life would be easier if we had one really effective painkiller!!! Love Sue
