I think that tillytop is to brave the perils of the methotrexate sea today. She has had problems in the past with it, so my fingers are very firmly crossed that her new plan, from her lovely new rheumatologist, can be initiated without too many side effects. I am thinking of you tilly: I hope it goes well. DD

Thanks DD for starting this thread. And thanks Sue for your kind message.

I'm taking the DD approach to this - assume it will be fine - and so far it is (mind you, it's only been an hour and half so far)!

Just off to make myself boiled eggs and toast soldiers - suggestion from Babycham so thanks for that Cham!!!

Thanks Toni, Iris and Julie for your good wishes.

Hope the sticky tape is not too uncomfortable Julie - much appreciated!

Well, it's been almost three and a half hours now and no nausea - and I'm sure that, when I took it last time round, just before bed, that it was less than three hours before I woke up feeling sick. So maybe things really ARE going to be fine this time round!

Thanks for thinking of me - make a big difference.

Thanks Julie and Cris for your messages!

I am still feeling absolutely fine thanks – no sign of nausea at all – so I think I have escaped for this week.

Julie – hope you have managed to get that tape off your fingers! Much appreciated!

Cris – thanks so much for your message, the ((())))s and the cream tea was absolutely scrummy thanks! So sorry you have had such a nightmare day today – hope you managed to sort out the fences. Just what you didn’t need on top of everything else heh? Here’s me worrying about my tiddly dose of meth when you are facing up to your horrible week of meds. I am thinking of you so hard Cris, and sending you buckets and buckets of courage and lots of

Hi Tilly, hope you continue to be nausea free and that the med makes a difference to your symptoms too.

I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

Hi DD, Ironic Iris, Woodbon, Speedy, Wonky and Marion.

Thanks to everyone for your kind messages yesterday (and thanks for the ginger biccys Wonky, not needed for nausea but enjoyed them anyway!).

I am thrilled to report that I am still absolutely fine - not even the tiniest hint of nausea so think I have escaped that for this week.

    Thanks again!

    Hi Tilly

Yes seems to be. Ain't out the woods but have managed to cut the diclofenic and paracetomal down considerably. Hospital appointment next month will tell a few stories no doubt.

    Good luck
