and as I pulled up a car infront of me stopped and out leapt(poetic licence you understand) a tall hairy man

Straight away I just KNEW it was Del!!!!!!!

That helped so we were able to go in together.

As we walked through the door we saw another hairy man  seated beside some rather impressive artwork - you guessed it - it was our very own livinglegend Joseph :D Exactly as i had pictured him too :)

The paintings were beautiful (although one of the other exhibitors seemed to specialise in half-naked ladies  ) I am so glad I went.

Thank you for letting us know Joseph and to both of you - lovely to meet you :D

Love

Toni xx

Toni and Del arrived together and as soon as I saw them walk through the door I knew straight away who they were, it was as if we had met many times before, (as really we had on the forum).

We were soon chatting away like true friends putting the world to rights and I want to thank Toni and Del for coming to see my paintings. It was really a positive experience to meet them both and I am sure we will all meet up again.

How brilliant is that....It drives me mad sometimes wondering what people look like.
And how nice that you all had a good chat, like Joseph says like real friends :)
Glad you enjoyed it, Joseph give us more warning next if you can, then who knows, you might have loads of us there.

    Hi Toni

I'm glad that you enjoyed the coffee morning and Joseph's exhibition and I'm sorry that I wasn't able to join you all. I guessed that you would all make friends quickly because you are all lovely people.

Well done Joseph! I'm glad that your exhibition was a success.

Lynn, I haven't met Del, but yes, Joseph is really THAT hairy ( and very distinguished too :!: :D )

    Hi toni

so glad you went to the exhibition and met del and joseph.

Bet you all had a great chit chat , easier to talk than having to press a keyboard eh.

Wish i could have come too but its too far for me also , and as i am not driving yet the chair would have taken days.

Hope the coffee morning raised lots for charity.

Congratulations Joseph on a successful exhibition. Could we see some more of your work soon?

Well, I haven`t met Del, but I have seen a picture of him - look at his profile - although I have to admit I was looking at his scooter. OMG, I wish I hadn`t. It`s a monster! My son got one to commute from Oxford to London, and then around the city, and I fondly imagined a little Vespa type thingy. Not so, and I haven`t had a minutes peace since I saw Del`s. He now thinks - my son, not Del - he needs something "more powerful" like a Harley Davidson. My GP wonders why my BP is so high.......Ange.x.

Oh Toni, wish I'd been able to get there, it would be so good to meet up with some of the 'voices' on here.......mind, I'd be hiding a bit, 'cos I'm shy.......

Joseph's paintings are so good to look at; lucky Joan for owning some!

Yes Val they are beautiful. I love the ones of the sea. But was drawn towards the Roman one this time.

Congratulations Joseph and good luck with selling them.
