DLA result,

Considering I only got ,my DLA claim returned to the DWP on 6th Sept i have got my confirmation letter already and it is surprisingly good news. I was expecting a long wait or a battle.
They wrote to my hospital consultant too so I think I have had the gods smiling on me ....keep on with your claims everybody.

    I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

    Congrats! Bet you are pleased!
    I put my renewal for DLA in August and got a letter saying that they are still considering it. I've had DLA since 2002 but a bit worried they will turn me down.

    thankyou. i was not expecting a reply so soon and thought it was a letter saying still waiting for your consultant to reply so wasnt paying attention to the letter.
